Sawyer Harris Wyoming Red Desert Elk Hunt

Sawyer Harris is an incredible young man. A few years ago, he began to lose his hearing. Soon after, he was diagnosed with Neurofibromatosis type 2 (NF2). This causes tumors that affect his hearing, spine and brain. He has undergone several surgeries to remove tumors and has also undergone chemotherapy. He received an opportunity to go hunting in Wyoming with the Holy Pursuit Foundation and 307 Pursuit. Blake Fegler guided Sawyer, his father Shannon and his mother Stacey on a trophy elk hunt in the Red Desert of Wyoming. This is one of the toughest elk draw areas to get because of the quality of bull elk in the area. Sawyer recounts his trip, the harvest, his faith in God and his perseverance through it all.
